Will Flanary is an ophthalmologist and part time comedian who moonlights in his free time as “Dr. Glaucomflecken,” a social media personality who creates medical-themed comedy shorts to an audience of over 3 million across social media. His humor has been shaped by the tribulations of med school and residency, but also by his experiences as a patient.
Will is a 2-time testicular cancer survivor as well as a survivor of cardiac arrest, saved by his intrepid wife and her timely CPR. Initially used as a creative outlet to cope with these health challenges, Will’s comedy has evolved over time to incorporate biting satire of the US health care system, academic publishing, and interpersonal conflicts pervasive in the medical system. He is a frequent keynote speaker who encourages medical audiences to embrace humor in everyday life.

About the Speaker
Judy Alberto, MHA, RPh, BCOP is Director of Clinical Initiatives at the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), the nation’s only non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting local, affordable, and accessible cancer care. In this role, she supports and promotes the success of community oncology practices participating in clinical and payment reform initiatives.
Working closely with COA’s quality and value team, Alberto seeks to support the design, awareness, and participation in oncology payment and delivery reform initiatives. This includes oncology models from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, as well as participants in the National Cancer Treatment Alliance, a COA-led clinically integrated network engaging directly with employers and payers. Alberto also helps lead the Community Oncology Pharmacy Association (COPA), an 875+ strong peer-to-peer network of medically integrated pharmacies located in independent community oncology and urology practices across the country.
Prior to joining COA, Judy was the director of oncology and investigational drug services pharmacy at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center – Jefferson Health. She joined Jefferson in 2010, working her way up from patient care pharmacist to her directorship. Prior to joining Jefferson, she worked as a pharmacist at Express Scripts in Bensalem, PA, and the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Judy received her pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Arizona.

About the Speaker
Dr. Atkins earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hampton University, Hampton, VA and her Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, VA. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine (1993) and her Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology (1996) at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. While serving in the Army, she attained the rank of Major. Dr. Atkins worked at Texas Oncology for two years prior to moving to Augusta, GA. She joined, Augusta Oncology, the only privately-owned Oncology practice in the Augusta, GA area in 2000. She is board certified in Medical Oncology.
Dr. Atkins is the Associate Medical Director for Pruitt Hospice, Assistant Clinical Professor for the American University of Antigua and the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts. She holds leadership positions at the hospitals in Augusta, GA. Dr. Atkins is the Vice President of the Medical Executive Committee at University Hospital and the former chairperson of the Credentials Committee for University HealthLink. She is a member of the Cancer Committee at Doctors Hospital and University Hospital.
Dr. Atkins has been an active member of the Community Oncology Alliance since its inception. She is currently the CPAN Medical Co-chair and the Secretary of the organization.

In May of 2014, Glenn Balasky joined Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers (RMCC) as the Executive Director for this progressive 55 physician multi-specialty oncology group. He has over 21 years of experience in oncology practice operations and management and has been involved in healthcare for his entire career.
Prior to joining RMCC his most recent positions included a Director of Marketing position at Cardinal Health and 10 years as Executive Director at The Zangmeister Center in Columbus, OH. There he helped another leading oncology group build a stand-alone cancer center putting a broad variety of cancer services under one roof for the first time in central Ohio.
Glenn has experience in several areas of oncology practice management including electronic medical records, pharmacy, and practice operations. He has made presentations at several national meetings on the business of oncology and has been to Washington D.C. numerous times to work with congressional representatives on cancer related issues.
Glenn is like all of us and has seen family members and friends pass away due to cancer. His commitment to making cancer care better at RMCC comes through his ability to identify complex problems and find solutions to solve the problems. He believes that everyone is an important part of the team at RMCC and has an equally important role in helping patients through their healthcare journey.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. Outside of work he enjoys running, cycling, and skiing and is very proud of the accomplishments of his wife and his two adult children.

Christian G. Downs, JD, MHA, is the Executive Director of the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC). In this capacity, he works with the ACCC Board and leadership on issues that affect providers and the delivery of quality cancer care in physician practices, hospital cancer programs, freestanding cancer centers, health systems, and other oncology care settings. In addition, he helps to further ACCC’s mission through coalition building with other oncology stakeholder organizations to ensure continued patient access to care.
ACCC is a multidisciplinary cancer organization representing more than 2,500 community-based cancer programs. The 24,000-plus membership includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, cancer program and practice administrators, patient navigators, financial advocates, coders and billers, and many other disciplines.
ACCC’s core purposes are advocacy and education. Over the past several years, ACCC has launched major education initiatives in areas such as cancer survivorship, patient navigation, molecular testing, immunotherapy, oral chemotherapy, adherence, chemotherapy scheduling strategies, financial advocacy, and the use of clinical practice guidelines. ACCC initiatives are tailored to the unique needs of community-based cancer care professionals and offer specific strategies and processes to help members implement change and performance improvement in their programs.

He has a deep understanding of the people and processes that affect America’s health care system and has a knack for translating the “wonkery” of health policy into language and concepts that resonate with policymakers, providers, patients, and voters.
Nick has engaged in nearly every major recent health policy issue before Congress and regulatory agencies, including the Affordable Care Act, the 340B Drug Pricing Program, Medicare reimbursement policy, and more. He has worked closely with policymakers on Capitol Hill, the White House, the Department of Health & Human Services, Food and Drug Administration, and National Institutes of Health. Dr. Lucio Gordan earned his medical degree from the State University of Londrina College of Medicine in Londrina, Brazil, and later completed his internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. After finishing his residency, Dr. Gordan was awarded a fellowship in Medical Oncology/Hematology at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. He is Board-certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Gordan serves as President and Managing Physician at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) and practices at the FCS Gainesville Cancer Center. Having served in his previous role as Chief Medical Officer for Therapeutics and Analytics, Dr. Gordan continues to drive precision oncology efforts within the practice through analysis of real-world data, innovative technology, and research. This is Dr. Gordan’s second term as President and Managing Physician, having previously served the statewide practice from 2018-2021.
He also serves as a member of the Executive Council for the National Cancer Oral Dispensing Association (NCODA) and the FCS Executive Board.
As a cancer researcher and the recipient of research grants, Dr. Lucio Gordan is actively engaged in early and late clinical trials. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He serves on the editorial board of several oncology journals. Dr. Gordan is currently in charge of the development of Digital FCS, real-world evidence division at FCS (PRECISE), therapeutics decisions, and dynamic decision-support tool among other tasks. In 2013, Dr. Gordan was awarded the prestigious FRIST Award from the Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in recognition of his service in the Gainesville community. He is the co-chair of Humanitarian Initiatives at COA supporting national and international crises and received the 2022 FCS Humanitarian Award, recognizing his efforts on global, national and local scales.
Frequently, he participates in national and international meetings as a speaker and key thought leader. Married and the father of one child, Dr. Gordan enjoys traveling, reading, working in his horse farm and photography.

Brad Hively is Chief Executive Officer of The Oncology Institute (NASDAQ: TOI). Brad joined TOI as a member of its Board of Directors in 2018 and assumed the role of CEO in 2019. He brings over 20 years of executive leadership and healthcare experience to TOI.
Prior to joining TOI, Brad was President of Health Essentials. Through its IPA, its Medical Group, and its eight hospices, Health Essentials provides high-touch, value-based care for patients with advanced illness.
Before Health Essentials, Brad was Senior Vice President of Operations at Heritage Provider Network. Heritage is one of the largest, most progressive physician groups in the country. Through its network of over 35,000 physicians, Heritage manages care for approximately one million patients on an at-risk basis.
Brad has also spent time as a healthcare investor, holding positions with RLH Equity, General Atlantic, and TA Associates. In his time as an investor, Brad served on the Boards of The Oncology Institute, Biorasi, Patient Care America, and American Access Care.

Ben has been in this role for over 12 years and serves as the Executive Director of The US Oncology Network political action committee (PAC). Dr. Lattanzi attended medical school at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine where he remained to complete internal medicine residency at NYU Langone Health and Bellevue Hospital in New York City. About the Speaker
James Lee is senior manager for state regulation and policy at the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), the only national organization dedicated solely to preserving and protecting local, affordable, and accessible cancer care.
An experienced health care advocate at the state and federal levels, James has engaged in successful efforts to expand, clarify, and codify complex policy pertaining to Medicaid, telehealth and telemedicine, behavioral health, and pharmacy, just to name a few.
Prior to joining COA, James represented Legacy Community Health, one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing Federally Qualified Health Center systems, located in Southeast Texas. As manager of government relations at Legacy, he led strategic legislative campaigns with internal and external stakeholders. Producing public policy outcomes for more than 190,000 clients at 45 facilities, he served as a liaison to over 75 federal, state, and local policymakers.
James is a native of the U.S. border with Mexico, and was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, the most southern region of Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Houston and now calls Houston home.

About the Speaker
As Director of Public Policy, Tony ensures alignment of policy positions on human and animal health distribution and access to care issues among AmerisourceBergen’s divisions, leadership and the U.S. Public Policy and Advocacy team. His work includes pharmaceutical, medical device and FDA, CMS/HHS, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA (and now IRA) reimbursement and access policies. He has particularly enjoyed helping to secure patient access through policy and advocacy work on reimbursement and operational issues for AB’s Specialty Physician Services division.
His previous experiences includes private healthcare consulting; advancing government affairs at Philips Healthcare; and directing policy and regulatory affairs at NCPA. Tony’s work in private practice has included traditional litigation and corporate, and policy work, including helping to secure appropriations and representing Latin American Embassies. He has also served as Legislative Counsel for a U.S. Senator.
Tony received his JD from Cornell Law School and B.A. degree in Political Science from Yale College. He enjoys singing as a member of the Choral Arts Society of Washington Symphonic and Chamber choirs.

Enhancing Equity in Clinical Research: Lessons Learned From Community Oncology Engagement Efforts
About the Speaker
Dr. Richard Lewis Martin III, MD, MPH is a physician and Medical Director of Health Equity and Community Engagement with Tennessee Oncology, practicing in both Clarksville and Antioch, Tennessee. While not an organ focused specialist, Dr. Martin considers himself a specialist in treating diverse and socially complex patients. Dr. Martin also serves as President of Tennessee Oncology Practice Society (TOPS), the state affiliate of ACCC, where he is leading state efforts to advance patient and provider centered legislation on PBM and Prior Authorization Reform, Telehealth Reimbursement, and Women’s Reproductive Care. He also co-founded and serves on the steering committee for the Appalachian Community Cancer Alliance (ACCA) which seeks to bridge gaps in knowledge, resources, and communication between primary and sub-specialty providers in delivering cancer prevention and screening services. Dr. Martin also serves on COA’s Health Equity Committee.
Dr. Martin’s passion for health equity and caring for underserved populations stems from his initial experiences shadowing physicians in central Washington migrant farmworker clinics, and leading nutrition and exercise programming for low income East Boston Latino families through AmeriCorps. Dr. Martin completed his MPH in Epidemiology and Biostats from Oregon Health Sciences University and his medical school training at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he sought out clinical rotations in Alaska and Wyoming to better understand rural healthcare delivery. Initially interested in HIV/Hepatitis medicine, Dr. Martin found his calling in Hematology/Oncology during his residency at the University of Wisconsin. During residency, he also discovered his passion for patient and provider advocacy, serving as resident board member of the American College of Physicians Wisconsin Chapter. Appreciating that mentorship and training are critical to advancing DEI, after his residency, Dr. Martin returned to his hometown community residency program for a one-year Teaching Fellowship.
Dr. Martin attended Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his Hematology/Oncology fellowship, where he completed his final year as chief fellow. After completing fellowship, he took a position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College, one of four HBCU medical schools in the United States, and tasked with providing oncology care for Middle Tennessee’s safety net hospital, Nashville General Hospital. At Meharry, Dr. Martin served as Co-Director of Clinical Oncology Trials, Sickle Cell Center Medical Director, and Cancer Liaison Physician for the Committee On Cancer. Hoping to build even broader state, regional, and national health equity networks, Dr. Martin joined Tennessee Oncology in 2022 where he now serves as Medical Director of Health Equity and Community Engagement.
When he is not eating, breathing, and sleeping health equity, Dr. Martin prides himself on being husband to his wife Juliana, dad to his son Santiago, and doggie dad to Guacamole. He also finds time to garden, attend Nashville soccer games, and is learning Spanish to keep up with his family.

Jerrica Mathis leads the federal Government Relations team as Cardinal Health’s Director, Government Relations. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Jerrica was a director in Crowell & Moring’s Government Affairs Group. Based in their Washington, D.C. office, she assisted corporate, trade association, and individual clients with legislative and regulatory advocacy and strategies before Congress and federal agencies. Prior to joining Crowell & Moring, Jerrica served as a senior government relations manager at a boutique lobbying shop, where she provided government relations support to health care clients, including global health, non-profit patient advocacy, and health professional organizations. She has also served as a project director at the Society for Public Health Education and as a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Health Policy Fellow. About the Speaker
Barbara L. McAneny, MD, a board-certified medical oncologist/hematologist from Albuquerque, N.M., became the 173rd president of the American Medical Association in June 2018. She has been a member of the AMA Board of Trustees between June 2010 and June 2020, serving as its chair in 2015–2016. Dr. McAneny is a fellow and former member of the board of directors of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a master of the American College of Physicians, and a past president of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS), the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association and the New Mexico chapter of the American College of Physicians. In addition, she has served as a member of the Community Oncology Alliance Board of Trustees and on the board of directors of the Cancer Center Business Summit. She became the delegate to the AMA from ASCO in 2002 and was elected to the AMA Council on Medical Service in 2003, serving as its chair in 2009–2010. Dr. McAneny is one of the founders and current chair of the board of the National Cancer Care Alliance, a group of independent practices collaborating to use innovation to deliver high-quality, high-value cancer care and to develop new alternative payment models based on sound data-driven principles. Prior to this, she was a founding member of Oncology Circle, a group of oncology practices using data to promote best practices. Dr. McAneny’s interest in using data to improve practice sustainability began when she was appointed to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Service’s Practicing Physicians Advisory Council, where she served from 2002 to 2006. In 2012 Dr. McAneny received a $19.8 million grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation to demonstrate how oncology practices could use triage pathways to dramatically lower costs while improving outcomes. This award, named COME HOME (for Community Oncology Medical Home), later was incorporated into Medicare’s Oncology Care Model. Dr. McAneny also co-founded New Mexico Oncology Hematology Consultants Ltd. in 1987 with Clark Haskins, MD. A managing partner since 1999, she built New Mexico Cancer Center as the first physician-owned multi-disciplinary cancer center in the state with clinics in Albuquerque and Gallup. She also founded the New Mexico Cancer Center Foundation, which provides grants to help patients with nonmedical expenses. Dr. McAneny graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 1973 and with honors from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1977. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Iowa in 1980 and her fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of New Mexico in 1983. About the Speaker
Ted Okon is a nationally recognized expert on the policy and politics of cancer care. He is quoted extensively in the press, including guest appearances on TV and radio news shows. Ted has testified before Congress on cancer issues and is frequently on Capitol Hill discussing the nation’s cancer care delivery system. Ted’s target areas of expertise include the cost of cancer treatment, health care reform, Medicare reimbursement, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), drug shortages, and the changing landscape of cancer care delivery in the United States.
Ted has dedicated his career to healthcare business and policy. He has worked for several pharmaceutical companies including Merck and Warner-Lambert, now part of Pfizer, and IMS Health. He co-founded and took public the health care information business Medical Marketing Group. He also founded two oncology companies (an oncology clinical research network and an information network) and has traveled extensively to China, India, Singapore, the U.K., and the Middle East, analyzing and discussing cancer care delivery.
As executive director of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA), Ted oversees the strategic direction of this non-profit organization dedicated to patients and providers in the community cancer care setting, under the direction of a dedicated board of oncologists and practice administrators. Ted also travels the country speaking to state oncology societies, professional organizations, and companies about the challenges facing the nation’s cancer care delivery system. He has authored numerous articles and studies relating to cancer care policy and politics, reimbursement, and clinical issues.
Ted holds a BS degree from Fairfield University and an MBA from the Carnegie-Mellon University Tepper School of Business. His wife, Susan, practiced as a certified oncology nurse.

As Director of Practice Support, Shiela Plasencia brings a wealth of knowledge to COA membership. Ms. Plasencia acts as a critical link between practice administrators, distributing insights and tools to improve practice operations and pursue the highest quality care for patients. She also oversees the COA Administrators’ Network, a peer-to-peer network for administrators for practice leaders to share best practices for addressing the unique issues they face.
Prior to joining COA, Plasencia served as director of quality improvement, compliance, and value-based care at Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI), a community oncology practice she joined in 2004. Through her leadership, OCSRI earned the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s QOPI Certification and is one of only two practices in the state of Oklahoma to hold this certification. Dr. Riely received his PhD and MD degrees from Case Western Reserve University, was a Resident in Internal Medicine at NY Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and completed fellowship training in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer. His primary research focus is in clinical and translational research to advance the care of patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Developing a community based oncology nurse navigation program and collaborating to implement a fully integrated initiative to address social determinants of health within the practice have been critical projects in her role.

She has been asked to speak on various panels addressing the complex issues surrounding health equity. Dr. Wade is a proud Virginian, and proud to be a board-certified oncologist with the Virginia Cancer Institute. He advocates our unique mix of cutting-edge research and compassionate care that make VCI a celebrated institution in Central Virginia. His clinical and research interests are pancreatic, lung and colon malignancies.
Dr. Wade is a Richmond native and received his medical training entirely in and around the Central Virginia area. Beginning with a BA from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA in 1995, he returned to Richmond to earn his MD from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2001. He then remained at VCU Medical Center to complete both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology. He is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology and is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia, the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the American Association of Clinical Oncology. He has been a physician with the Virginia Cancer Institute since 2007. He sees patients at our Mechanicsville location.
Outside the office, Dr. Wade enjoys spending time with his family at their Richmond home. Staying in shape is important to him. You’re likely to find him rooting for his alma mater—UVA—courtside, at the stadium or on television. He’d like to assure his Hokie-fan patients that there are no teams when it comes to cancer treatment. He treats all his patients like family—even Virginia Tech fans.

About the Co-Chair
Dr. Divers received his medical degree from Louisiana State University where he was a selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his tenure there, he was named the Outstanding Resident all three years and received the Chairman’s award for his performance in medicine. He completed a dual fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at University of Alabama, where he conducted clinical trials in combined modality therapy for lung cancer and translational research with gene arrays and immune checkpoint therapy. He was honored as the Outstanding Clinical Fellow and Outstanding Research Fellow while in Alabama. Following completion of his training, he joined Genesis Cancer Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2004 as a practicing physician. Locally, he served as Chief of Staff for CHI ST Vincent hospital and Chairman of the Cancer committee. He was instrumental in founding the CPAN chapter for patient advocacy in in Arkansas. He has continued clinical research in the private setting, publishing data from multiple trials involved with cell free DNA sequencing and therapeutics. He continues to serve as a member of the ION advisory panel and on the Community Oncology Alliance as an active board member and Co-Chair for the annual conference. He and his partners joined American Oncology Network in 2018 with a group from Louisiana as the founding practices. He is currently Chairman of the Advisory board for AON, and remains passionate about the success of community oncology.

About the Co-Chair
Dr. Debra Patt is a practicing oncologist and breast cancer specialist in Austin, Texas, and an executive vice president of Texas Oncology with responsibilities in healthcare policy and strategic initiatives. She is an active leader in breast cancer and research in healthcare informatics.
Dr. Patt has responsibility for breast cancer research in Austin and leads our multidisciplinary tumor boards for breast cancer.
As an expert in healthcare policy, she has testified before Congress to protect access to care for Medicare beneficiaries. She chairs the Council on Legislation for the Texas Medical Association and works to formulate responsible healthcare policy that improves the health of Texans. She serves as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Clinical Oncology Clinical Cancer Informatics, and drives engagement in clinical informatics solutions to enhance healthcare. Her research is in clinical decision support, predictive analytics, telemedicine, HEOR, tools for patient symptom management and quality improvement.
Within Texas Oncology, she serves on the payer relations, marketing, telemedicine, strategy, policy, management executive, marketing, and revenue cycle committees.
She is the past-chair of ASCO’s clinical practice committee and served on ASCO’s nominating committee for the ASCO Board and the Conquer Cancer Foundation as well as the health IT work group, EHR, technology, and data requirements workgroup, and guidelines committees.
Dr. Patt serves as the President of the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology, the Vice President for the Community Oncology Alliance and serves locally on the Austin Healthcare Council, Shivers Board, and formerly on the board of Komen and the Breast Cancer Resource Center.
She lectures medical students and is a clinical Professor at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.

About the Co-Chair
Stephen Schleicher, MD, MBA, was appointed Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Tennessee Oncology, one of the largest providers of oncology care in the country and the largest in Tennessee, in January 2022. In that role, Dr. Schleicher oversees clinical programs to promote the high-quality, innovative and patient-centered care Tennessee Oncology is known for delivering throughout Tennessee and North Georgia. Prior to this, Stephen served as Medical Director of Value-Based Care across both Tennessee Oncology and OneOncology, a national platform for independent community oncology practices that now includes over 700 oncology providers across the US. Dr. Schleicher received his medical training from Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) in New York before returning to his hometown of Nashville to join Tennessee Oncology. Dr. Schleicher also spent time as a consultant at McKinsey and Company and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. In addition to his role as CMO for Tennessee Oncology, Dr. Schleicher serves as President of the Tennessee Oncology Practice Society.

About the Co-Chair
Jeffrey Vacirca, MD, FACP is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist, serving as Chief Executive Officer and managing partner at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. Dr. Vacirca is the immediate past president of the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) and is the medical director for the International Oncology Network (ION), Oncology Network Development at Mt. Sinai Health Network, and for Long Island Aids Care (LIAC). Dr. Vacirca serves on the board of directors of OneOncology, BeyondSpring, and the American Red Cross of Greater New York.
Dr. Vacirca is the founder and chairman of the New York Cancer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to patients undergoing cancer treatment. He is also co-founder and former vice-chairman of Odonate Therapeutics, and director and chair of the Compensation Committee of Spectrum Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Vacirca is the co-founder and president of the National Translational Research group and holds a position for Caris Life Sciences as a Scientific Advisory Board Member. Additionally, he serves as a medical board advisor for Flatiron Health, located in New York City.
Dr. Vacirca has received numerous awards and accolades for his efforts in providing outstanding patient care including Humanitarian of the Year by the American Red Cross, the Theodore Roosevelt Award for outstanding dedication to patient care, and being named in Newsday’s Top Doctors.
